File Specifications


The following specifications will help us serve you more efficiently.

To be included with all print jobs:

• All printer and screen fonts required to print the document and picture files.
• All EPS and/or TIFF files used in page layout.
• All required QuarkXtensions.
• All original application files.
• Final laser prints of all document pages to be printed must be included, including separations if applicable.
• Name of all files to output to film. Please indicate if there is a hi-res file that should be used.
• Total number of documents to output.
• List of all fonts and font vendors used.
• Documents should be sized properly in applications, including crop marks.
  
• If your job uses pantone or spot colors, make sure all Pantone and spot colors used in your art files and page layout documents are not saved as 4 color process conversions.
• If your job is using 4 color process color, make sure all colors used in both your art files and page layout documents are converted.
• Make sure all extraneous and unneeded elements are removed from pasteboard area of the page.
• Only one page should be used on the page layouts document page.
• Any expander program for compressed file other than Stuff-it or Stuff-it lite must be included.
• How to contact the designer of files.

PDF Files:

• Should be sent in properly. Ready to go.
• with crop marks already in document.
• with color separations already set in document.
  
• Remember no changes can be made to PDF files. (any changes must be made by the customer or their designer.

E-mail:

• All files should be sent to your Account Manager (First Name.Last Name@supremex.ca).
  
• To prevent file corruption all files should be stuffed using stuff-it, in .sit format or zipped only (regardless of size).
  
• Please supply Account Manager with Hard Copy via Fax or Courier.
