Company Profile
Supremex provides stock and custom manufactured envelopes and related products to both Canadian and U.S. customers in both the private and public sectors. We manufacture a wide range of products in an array of styles, shapes and colors, which allow us to offer our customers a high degree of flexibility and customization. Our products can generally be divided into three categories: stock envelopes, custom envelopes and related products.

Leading Market Position and Local Presence Across Canada
Supremex is the only national envelope company with facilities in 13 cities in seven provinces across Canada, which enables us to satisfy the printing and manufacturing requirements of large national customers, such as chartered banks and national retailers as well as third party process and solution providers. Furthermore, our local presence allows us to service customers in all parts of Canada and the Northern United States in a timely manner with reduced shipping costs.

Each Supremex region is equipped to produce the vast majority of their local markets’ requirements. Our inter-plant cooperation and manufacturing redundancies allows us to provide a full complement of products in each region as well as unequalled security of supply.

By combining the strength of both extensive national resources and local expertise, we provide our customers unparalleled manufacturing flexibility.

Our more than 700 employees from coast to coast utilize the most extensive array of envelope folding and printing equipment in Canada to deliver millions of envelopes daily, on time and on specification.

Our History
Supremex began as Enveloppe Supreme in April 1977.

1990 - SCBOF (investment fund) acquires 78% interest in the capital stock of the company.
1991 - Acquired Unique Envelope, Elite Envelope, Sentry Envelope and Innova Envelope.
1994 - Acquired 75% interest in the capital stock of Classic Envelope Plus
1995 - Sale of 100% of Supremex’ interest to Cenveo (Formerly Mail-Well Holdings Inc.)
1996 - Acquired assets of PNG Globe Envelopes and PNG Enveloppe Internationale
1998 - Acquired envelope operations only of Dominion Blueline.
2000 - Acquired CML Industries Limited which included Regional Envelope, Regal Envelope, Transit Envelope, Specialty Paper Products and Precision Fine Papers
2001 - Commenced management of Cenveo, Depew NY operations
2005 - Sold Classic Envelope Plus Limited, and Precision Fine Papers
2005 - Cenveo publicly announces intention to evaluate the sale of Supremex
2006 - Initial Public Offering, Supremex Income Fund (March)
