Financial Analyst

Role Overview
The Financial Analyst is a key partner to the plant leadership team. Analyst is responsible for coordinating plant budget and business planning activities. The analyst will provide financial direction to the plant and provide recommendations to improve site performance.

Qualification and experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Minimum 3 years of experience with manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Analytical with high level of detail orientation and experience working with spreadsheets, databases, and interpreting data for various reporting purposes
• Must be familiar with reporting systems (Microsoft dynamic AX, powerBI)
• Ability to learn and master new tools in a fast-paced environment
• Exude a professional attitude; be courteous, friendly, exceptionally organized, and willing to take initiative
• Strong customer service (internal and external) orientation

Quality, accuracy, timeliness, reliability, and thoroughness of work performed; ability to gain the trust and respect of management and coworkers; maintain the integrity of confidential business and product information; ability to communicate effectively and develop good working relationships with other employees is essential to accomplish goals and objectives of the department.

Specific Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with general manager, plant controllers and senior management to explain results, make improvements, manage projects, identify inefficiencies, understand operations and lead the development of needed analysis
• Assist in the production cost estimation to support quoting activities
• Actively participate in annual budget and monthly trending processes. Providing guidance on timelines and overall financial assumptions
• Coordinate, analyze and execute monthly financial reviews with plant management to constantly improve efficiencies
• Perform sensitivity and incremental cost/benefit decision analyses.
• Provide analytical support for plant initiatives and contract negotiations.
• Identify, analyze and communicate trends and issues affecting the business
