Quality Control Technician

You will be required to perform tasks related to the quality control department.

Your work environment
• Plant located in the TMR sector in Montreal
• Dynamic and organized work team where recognition is at the rendezvous
• Permanent position
• Evening and night shift (2 positions to fill)

Your tasks
• Reading of customer's technical specifications
• Validate the conformity of the production start, inform the supervisor of the particularities if it takes place
• Perform sampling at each stage of the manufacturing process according to the inspection plan (printing, cutting, gluing, packaging)
• Check the mileage sheets, Check the quality of the shelling table
• Perform the various laboratory tests
• Prepare, set up and codify color standards
• Prepare the models according to the client's requirements
• Perform the production line inspection
• Perform the inspection of the semi-finished product
• Perform the inspection of the finished product
• Release the finished product
• Keep the finished product inventory up to date
• Perform certificate of analysis and certificates of conformity
• Verify that the subcontractor's work meets quality standards
• Close files
• Validate compliance with manufacturing processes in accordance with quality system standards and certifications (BPF), SFI, FSC etc.
• Sampling organization storing the “OK” of presses, mileage sheets and department records
• Periodic organization of physical laboratory spaces
• Make daily report to the supervisor
• Check the different production departments and the production follow-up according to the quality process.
Activities No conformities
• Assist in the process of evaluating the return of goods as to the reasons and quantities
• Inform about calibration problems of measuring equipment (calliper, densitometer, etc.)
• Prepare various reports for the client
• Perform other related duties

• Possess relevant training in the field of quality control (An asset)
• Have experience in the field of quality control (An asset)
• Basic computer knowledge
• Good physical shape. Personality
• Excellent teamwork skills, good communication and positive spirit
• Ability to learn quickly

• Be responsible, attentive to detail and quality
